Signature Workshops
In order for teams and organizations in social justice to achieve long-term impact, they must integrate wellbeing practices, self-awareness, and interior development to sustain them when the work seems impossible. Investing in the wellbeing of our social justice community is critical to collectively achieve our long-term vision of social justice.
We will work with you to ensure our offering is tailored to your organization, team, or audience:
Circles International’s keynotes speeches and interactive workshops have been led virtually and in-person, at conferences, team retreats, and other events.
Workshops can be tailored to specific needs, and can be facilitated as one-hour, three-hour, or full-day workshops, or as a workshop series.
We will also ensure that your speaker or facilitator is the right fit for you - whether it’s Circles International founder and CEO Eliza Ramos or another qualified of our team.

Signature Workshops
This workshop will explore how frontline social justice workers can foster wellbeing and prevent burnout in order to sustain their impact, even in the midst of collective uncertainty and grief.
This workshop is specifically recommended for frontline social justice workers suffer from fear and the long-term effects of stress and trauma (moral injury) from not being able to properly grieve patients, identity loss, falling ill, and the lack of self-care.
Creating time, space and intention for wellness not only keeps leaders engaged and prevents burnout, but also increases creativity, happiness, and productivity in the long-term. This workshop provides tools and practices to integrate wellness into non-profit leadership.
Traditional models of control and comply leadership will not work to solve today’s problems. Leaders need to energize each other with mutual trust, accountability, and honest communication. A leader’s job today is to create the conditions where transformation happens collectively, power and learning is shared, and values are acted upon together.
This interactive Collective Leadership and Collective Impact workshop will open you up to new ways of leading with others.
Leaders of social impact organizations must be able to assess the state of wellness within their organization, and intentionally create processes, policies, culture and systems that support the sustainability of its people and its mission. Participants will leave this workshop with concrete frameworks and skills to apply in real-time within their organization.
Whether implicit or explicit, teams and organizations all have a current culture around diversity and inclusion. This workshop allows teams and leaders to discuss areas of social identity, privilege and power in a way that empowers the group and builds deeper connections. Exploring and aligning on areas of diversity, equity and inclusion will allow the team/organization to better leverage their individual and collective power for social impact and justice.
Teams who work in the social justice and nonprofit space have an unsaid job function: cope with the individual and systemic trauma and stress that comes from working in the field. Knowing how to manage secondary trauma internally in the organization and externally in the community is a skillset that can be and must be learned. "Emotional First Aid" is needed now more than ever. This team coaching series provides teams with skills to respond to secondary trauma, cultivate resilience and prevent burnout in themselves, their organization, and in the communities they work with.
