Communications Intern
The Communications Intern will have internally and externally facing responsibilities in communications, business development, marketing and fundraising to support Circles International’s mission.
Scope may include, but is not limited to:
Creating communications materials for stakeholders, including our monthly newsletter and managing social media channels
Designing and creating marketing materials for upcoming programs; developing strategies to reach key audiences; marketing and outreach
Writing and research in the areas of grantwriting, blog posts, articles and other mediums
Working closely with our CEO to support client relationships, including administrative duties and support
As a member of a small collaborative team, the Communications Intern will provide cross cutting support to Circles International’s main clients and programs. These includes activities such as preparing for and attending workshops, events, and trainings.
The Communications Intern will report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate has strong self-management capabilities, remarkable organization skills, a can-do attitude, detail orientation, and excellent people skills. Additional desired skills include proficiency in mailchimp, squarespace, photoshop, and/or similar programs. You will thrive on our team if you are comfortable working in an early stage start up organization where you can build and create new materials from scratch, and if you are highly self-managed.
