Cher-Wen Dewitt
Coach and Facilitator
Cher-Wen DeWitt is a consultant, coach, facilitator and speaker. Currently in her role as Segal Family Foundation’s Director of Partnerships, she works to foster collaborative connections between visionary African organizations and funders committed to working with them in the spirit of community-led transformation.
Cher-Wen was a 2010-2011 Global Health Corps fellow and held the role of Country Director for FACE AIDS, a program of Partners In Health in Rwanda, delivering youth-focused community health education and support services to people living with HIV. She continued her career in Rwanda with One Acre Fund for several years, managing the logistics team responsible for last-mile delivery of agricultural products across the country. In 2015, she transitioned to an international role on One Acre Fund’s micro-finance partnerships team, building a coalition of agricultural micro-finance practitioners and working with MFIs in Tanzania to redesign loan products for smallholder farmers. Prior to joining SFF, Cher-Wen was Director of Operations for Flippable, an organization working to democratize political contribution insights for state legislative elections in the United States. She holds a degree in neuroscience from Oberlin College.
